Guidelines

Be someone worth playing with.

Squado works because people show up as themselves and treat each other well. These six principles are what we ask of everyone who posts a game, joins one, or just shows up.

Be real

  • Use your real name, a real photo, and an accurate profile. The person you are meeting is meeting the actual you.
  • One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone else.

Be welcoming

  • Every level and background belongs here. Invite people in, rather than keeping them out.
  • Judge the effort, not the skill.

Keep it about the game

  • Squado is for finding people to play with. Respect that the person you matched with may not be here for anything more than that.
  • Take no for an answer, the first time.

Show up

  • Only join events you actually intend to attend. If your plans change, leave early so someone else can take the spot.
  • Hosting a game? Cancel as early as you can if it is not going to happen.

Keep people safe

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, or unwanted contact.
  • Nothing involving minors, violence, or anything illegal.

Speak up

  • If something feels off, report it or block the person. Reports are anonymous, and we read every one.

Breaking these guidelines can mean losing access to Squado. Thank you for helping keep it a place worth showing up to.

Where this is binding

These principles are written in plain language here so they are easy to read. The Terms of Use, in the section on acceptable use and community rules, is where they become a binding part of your agreement with us.
